NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Middletown, Delaware County, New York, will meet and hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 10th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, #42339 State Route 28, Margaretville, NY.
Said Hearing will be to consider the 2027 Preliminary Town Budget. A copy of the Preliminary Budget is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, located at #42339 State Route 28, Margaretville, New York, where it may be inspected by any interested person during regular business hours.
At said Hearing, any person may be heard in favor or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled or for or against any item or items therein contained.
Pursuant to Town Law, Section 108, proposed salaries for elected Town Officers are as follows: Supervisor - $20,980; Town Councilman (4) - $6,212 each; Town Clerk - $55,114; Highway Supt - $75,844; Justice - $32,928.
FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Town Board will meet on Tuesday, November 10th, 2026 due to the Veterans Day Holiday. The November Workshop is also cancelled on November 4th, 2026.
