Public Hearing: Residency Requirement for Certain Town Officials

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Town of Middletown

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Middletown on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 42339 State Highway 28, Margaretville NY 12455, regarding proposed Local Law #2 of the Town of Middletown for the year 2026 A LOCAL LAW TO EXPAND THE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN TOWN OFFICIALS, at which all persons wishing to speak in favor of or against said proposed local law or any part thereof shall be heard; 

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the significance of said proposed Local Law will be reviewed by the Town Board of the Town of Middletown incident to and as a part of said Public Hearing. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at the Office of the Town Clerk, located at the Town Hall, 42339 State Highway 28, Margaretville, NY 12455 during regular business hours.
